NO.66 城市文化空间

 

当今城市的发展早已不仅仅局限于地域性发展,而是着眼于打造特色城市向着国际化发展。城市文化是加快特色城市建设步伐最重要的因素之一,它是一个城市的基本支点,是城市最重要的无形资产。一个城市的文化品质关系着它的经济品质、建筑品质和精神品质等。本期专题栏目即以“城市文化空间”为主题,精选了数个来自不同国度、不同城市的优秀项目,领略设计师们是如何通过一个项目体现一座城市的文化特色,抑或是撷取一缕文化元素装点城市空间。美国Young Circle艺术公园向大众提供家庭式日常互动文化体验;日本东京竜泉寺庙中的藏骸所—Hasshoden反映了日本的殡葬文化,为人们打造一个与“生命”互动的空间;由Zeller & Moye建筑事务所与艺术家Katie Paterson联合打造的名为“树洞”的艺术装置,将跨越星球历史的10000棵树集结在布里斯托尔历史悠久的皇家城堡花园中;LSG景观建筑设计团队打造出的哈里森社区中心谱写出一曲音乐历史与新游乐空间的合奏……

 

Nowadays, the urban development has already not been only restricted to the regional development but focus on creating characteristic city towards international development. The urban culture is one of the most important factors to accelerate the process of constructing characteristic city. It is a basic supporting point of city as well as its most important intangible assets. The cultural quality of a city is related to its economic, architectural and spiritual qualities. The topic of this issue is urban cultural space with several excellent projects from different area selected. Through these projects, let’s understand how the designers show the cultural features in their works or decorate cultural space with culture factors. Young Circle Arts Park provides daily, interactive, family-oriented cultural experiences for the general public. Hasshodenthe charnel house in Ryusenji Temple in Tokyo reflects Japanese funeral and interment culture, creating a space for people interacting with “life”. Hollow, a new public artwork permanently sited in the historic Royal Fort Gardens in Bristol, designed by architects Zeller & Moye and artist Katie Paterson, collects 10000 trees spanning the history of the planet. Harrison Recreation Center, created by LSG design team, integrates music history with new play space…

NO.65 野奢——回归式度假酒店

 

当下,越来越多的酒店不再拘泥于原有的风格,设计师们极具创意的发挥,令酒店“花样百出”,带给人们新鲜的体验感。近年来风靡全球的“野奢酒店”,可堪称创新度假酒店的典型,它的出现和崛起反映了人们对旅行更加返璞归真的期待。“野”和“奢”的结合,即是将山野田园的自然风光与奢华舒适的物质享受相结合,打造最极致静谧的精致生活。本期专题栏目,精选了几个度假酒店项目,皆是将自然美景与舒适享受融合到极致的上佳之作。例如,泰国Shma设计事务所将项目融入考艾连绵起伏的山脉地势,打造出独一无二的23° Estate度假景观;ONE景观设计事务所设计的印度支那西贡度假别墅,“稻田”元素遍布其中,乡野风情,尽显无遗;纳曼度假村在设计中融入绿色植物、石头和竹子等元素,营造出能够拥有净化身心的理想氛围的空间;设计师Hiroshi Nakamura将树屋建造在原始森林中,创造出“热海鸟巢”……

 

Currently, more and more hotels break the restriction of original style. Designers give rein to their creativity making the hotels diversified, which bring people much freshness. In recent years, rustic luxury hotel is fashionable globally, which can be considered as the typically innovative hotel. Its appearance and rise reflect people’s expecting to the more original travel. The combination of “rustic” and “luxury”, which refers to integrating the natural rustic scenery with the luxury and pleasing creature comfort, creates the most superlative and quiet fine life.In the “Topic” column, we select several excellent projects about resort hotel which are all integration of natural scenery and comfortable experience. For example, Shma studio creates the unique 23° Estate along the topography of lime stone mountainous formation in Khao Yai. In the Indochina Villas Saigon designed by ONE Landscape, more elements about “paddy field” can be seen here and there, which shows much rustic style. Naman Retreat puts some elements such as green plants, stone and bamboo etc. into its design to create a space with ideal atmosphere which can purify people’s mind and body. Designer Hiroshi Nakamura built treehouse in old-growth forest, creating “Bird’s Nest Atami”…

Zen, the quintessence of eastern traditional culture, is a belief, a mood as well as a returning. It helps to purify our hearts, improve our cultivation, lead us into nature and reborn. Zen idea, as an important part of Chinese traditional culture, has far-reaching influence on landscape design of China or even the whole Southeast Asia with its unusual connotation. The Crowne Plaza in Bangkok, Thailand, just like a quiet garden in city, is created as a peaceful haven for the busy people in city. The Sobreiras - Alentejo Country Hotel, situated in Serra de Grândola, embraces the peaceful and comfortable environment, where you can the quiet and slow elapse of time. NO.63 科技景观

 

纵观历史,历次科技革命都给人类的生产和生活带来了翻天覆地的变化,那么科学技术是不是也可以为我们的环境改造作出同样的贡献呢?答案是肯定的,时至今日,科学技术在景观设计领域中已有一定的应用,例如数字化媒体技术、虚拟现实技术、遥感技术等等。在国外,科学技术的运用更加广泛,给景观设计领域带来诸多惊喜。reMIX工作室设计的A-void巧妙利用光装置,在建筑的过去与未来之间营造了一场趣味横生的对话;设计师James Capper创作的GREENHORN机械装置运用新型材料以及自然元素实现美化环境的价值;迈阿密设计展上展出的由设计师Yves Béhar设计的诸多作品更让我们体会到科技对生活景观的渗透……

 

Looking back through the history, we can see that each scientific and technical revolution brought earth-shaking changes to human’s production and life. So, could it make the same contribution to our environmental renovation? The answer is “Yes”. So far, science and technology has been applied in design field, such as digital media technology, virtual reality technology, remote sensing technology and so on. They are applied more extensively overseas and create more amazing work. reMIX studio’s “A-void” creates an interesting dialogue between the past and the future of the building through a light installation. The “GREENHORN”, designed by James Capper, uses new materials and natural elements realizing its value of beautifying environment. The master Yves Béhar’s works displayed on Design Miami remind us of the influences the science and technology brings to our life landscape….

NO.62 城市•水

 

古人逐水而居,今人临水而居。水,总是能够勾出人类本性中那种原始和根深蒂固的东西。城市不论规模大小,有水则灵,有水就有城市的繁荣,因为水滋养着城市,并且凝聚着千古文化。在自然生态、公共区、生活区、工作区、重建开发滨水区内,如何把城市设计得能够涵养水体,在防洪、生态、植物多样性的基础上,将水的文化性、观赏性、空间层次调节性、城市景观营造能力等得以充分发挥?这是这个时代中城市的挑战和机遇。本期主题凝聚“城市·水”的敏感话题,梧槽河连接分离的城市,成为让居民休憩的后花园;Sasaki设计的芝加哥滨河步道重拾城市生态与休闲效益;Baan San Kraam 滨河住宅区以海洋概念,近距离接触大海;荷兰卢纳公园在独特的蓄水和保护系统内打造娱乐活动区……还水于民,让水维系着社会的进步和人类的文明。

 

The ancients lived near water while people now dwell beside water. Water is always able to dig out the original and ingrained thing in human nature. Whatever the urban scale, where there is water, there is vitality, there is prosperous city, because water nourishes city and contains profound culture. In the natural ecology, public zone, living and working area and reconstructed developing waterfront, how to design to enable city to cultivate water and completely show water’s features on its culture, appreciation, spatial level adjustment and water’s ability of urban landscape creation? This is both challenge and opportunity for city development today. The topic of this issue focuses on “City·Water”. Rochor Canal connects detached city, being a backyard garden for residents to rest. The Chicago Riverwalk designed by Sasaki picks up again the urban ecology and leisure effectiveness. With the concept of “ocean”, Baan San Kraam approaches the sea closely. In the Park of Luna, an entertainment activity area is created within unique water storage and protection system. Reconnecting water to residents, water will contribute to the social progress and civilization of mankind.

Going through the catastrophe of post-industrial age, urban stiff function division and large-scale dehumanized modern design make the urban image decline and die out. The sense of mess and fragmentation brought by those low-quality urban spaces destroy the integrality of urban environment. With the development of society and the change of people’s values and needs, city needs urgently to be reborn and re-integrated subversively.
